Students from all GCCCA pathways presented their projects to a panel made up of Mohawk employees.

This week Gordon County College and Career Academy students presented their semester projects to an industry panel from Mohawk Industries.  These projects ranged from developing a color story board in graphic design, to creating a plastic extruder in mechatronics and industrial maintenance, to a 3D SOLIDWORKS drawing of all the technical pieces within a gearbox. Students presented not only the design of their product but also the process of creating it. A huge thank you our partner Mohawk Industries for giving our students the opportunity to develop real world 21st century soft-skills through these presentations!
